About Advoke CV
Advoke CV is a free, browser-based resume builder and career resource site. It was built around a simple idea: applying for a job should not require a subscription, an account, or handing your personal data to another company.
What Advoke CV provides
Advoke CV offers:
- 60+ premium resume templates across seven categories — professional, modern, creative, technology, student, ATS-friendly and industry.
- A working resume editor that runs entirely in your browser, with live preview, JSON import/export, and print or save as PDF using your browser's own dialog.
- Free career tools including an ATS checker, keyword optimizer, bullet-point writer, summary generator, readability checker, cover letter builder and more.
- Original career content — practical writing guides, resume examples, cover-letter guides, interview preparation and career planning frameworks.
How it is built
Advoke CV is a static website. There is no backend, no database, no account system. All the functionality — the editor, the templates, the tools, the search — runs in your browser.
This choice was deliberate:
- Privacy. No server means no resume uploads. Everything you type stays on your device.
- Speed. Static pages serve faster and are more reliable than backends.
- Durability. No subscription to cancel, no service that can disappear mid-job-search.
- No cost. Everything on Advoke CV is free, and there is no paid tier, no ad wall around essential features, and no upsell.
What Advoke CV does not claim
Advoke CV does not claim to guarantee an ATS pass, an interview, or a job offer. No resume tool can. What Advoke CV does is help you present your experience as clearly, honestly and consistently as possible, and give you the tools to check your own work before you apply.
Advoke CV is independent. It is not affiliated with Google, LinkedIn, Indeed, or any ATS vendor. Any specific product names mentioned on the site (for example, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Figma) belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.
Editorial standards
Articles on Advoke CV are written as practical, honest advice for job seekers. They do not include:
- Fabricated case studies or testimonials.
- Fake statistics or invented survey data.
- Guarantees of job-search outcomes.
- Claims that a specific template or tool 'gets you hired'.
Where we cite a common practice or industry convention, we keep the advice general enough to be defensible — because hiring varies enormously by company, market and role. If an article gets something meaningfully wrong, we correct it. We do not have a formal review process with credentials to display; articles are written by Advoke CV's editorial team.
Privacy and data
Advoke CV does not require an account, does not upload your resume content, and does not sell personal information. Everything you enter into the editor is stored locally in your browser. You can export a JSON backup, or clear saved data at any time.
The only third-party services currently in use are Cloudflare (hosting), and — only if enabled by the site owner after account approval — Google AdSense for advertising. See the privacy policy and cookie policy for details.
